Turf Supply
Orara Turf currently grows and provides 5 varieties of turfgrass, a selection which covers everyone's requirements. Conventional everyday couch varieties through to the new licensed environmental varieties, including Sir Walter and Velvetene.
Our turf is cut fresh daily and can be arranged to be delivered to your site at a time that suits or alternatively, pick up from our farm.
 Each of our slabs are automatically harvested to provide a uniform thickness. Each slab measures 1.0 metre long by 0.55 metres wide, providing 0.55 square metres per slab. We can provide all varieties in slab format.
 Small rolls are 2.5 metres long by 0.4 metres wide, providing 1.0 square metre.
 Our big rolls are 1.1 metres wide and can be harvested up to 40 metres in length. Big rolls are ideal for larger installations such as sub divisions, sportsfield and schools.
 EnviroTurf is a soil less natural product. It is grown in recycled green waste and offers great benefits and advantages over conventional turf,less weight and wider cuts. EnviroTurf is established at approximately 10mm deep and can be cut and delivered in any dimension or shape up to 4.0 metres wide or 50 metres in length. EnviroTurf is ideal for erosion control and stabilization.
 Like EnviroTurf, these lawn plugs are established in a 100% organic recycled growing medium. The lawn plugs are available in trays of 30 individual plugs, each plug measures 50mm by 50mm and 65mm deep. The total area each tray will establish is totally dependent on the planting spacings. Lawn Plugs are a great alternative to turf, seed or stolons. Orara Turf currently produces a select range of our environmental turfgrass varieties in Lawn Plug form.
 LokTurf is our licensed artificially stabilized turf product. LokTurf is stabilized using the patented LokSand Fibre which is a crimped poly propylene fibre. When this fibre is incorporated into a sandy profile, load bearing capacity and wearability increases. This product is ideal in sports fields - goal mouths, goal squares etc or where special events are being held which require temporary turf coverage. LokTurf blocks are 50mm thick and 2.4 metres by 2.4 metres square. Rolls are 40mm thick, 1.1 metre wide and up to 10.0 metres long.
 All of our deliveries over 100 square metres involve the use of our pallet less system. This means no pallets left behind on site. All turf arrives neatly stacked, shrink wrapped and ready for your site. Our driver will then place each pallet of turf where you require it.
